THE DABAKALA PROJECT IS A SINGLE CONCESSION IN CENTRAL CÔTE D’IVOIRE WHERE PREVIOUS WORK COMPLETED BY THE COMPANY HIGHLIGHTED AN EXTENSIVE SURFACE GEOCHEMICAL ANOMALY AND FIELD GEOLOGICAL MAPPING INDICATED THE ASSOCIATION OF SHEARED AND ALTERED GEOLOGY ASSOCIATED WITH THE ANOMALY.
This is a large surface anomaly, extending for over 11km of strike and up to 3km in width and exploration is at an early stage. The follow-up work completed by the Company infilled the anomaly to a nominal 1km x 200m spacing over the key anomaly (and notes that still is very wide and reconnaissance level) and check sampling confirmed previous high grade surface samples of values of 4.2g/t gold and 3.5g/t gold.
Geochemical sampling conducted in 2021 returned high grade surface samples at new a discovery zone with new assay results of up to 1.97g/t gold. Multiple trends have been interpreted relating to geological structures and contacts and field reconnaissance and mapping of artisanal working was completed during the 2021 field season.
